Its done now! I have made the start to entering the Supercharged Outlaws class - can't wait. We raced in this class years ago with the Relentless altered and had great success, good memories in that class so hope we can continue.

This is my 2nd race car, my first and a little bit of my racing background is below.

Well been racing since before I was even born really, mum tells me stories of me moving lots when a fuel car would go by when she was pregnant with me, first event I was a week old, never looked back! As is usual started off with the polishing cloth and always had the cars sparkling, then moved up to helping with small jobs, skipping a few years later and crew chief on my old mans Relentless altered. Been into cars and engines since forever, using mills and lathes since I was 8 thanks to my grandad having the patience to teach me.

First car was bought in 2004, a 3.5 litre Rover powered 23T, raced this in the Wild bunch in 2006, loved that car, changed the motor to a 4.6 Rover V8 with a manual gearbox, launching at 7 grand and dumping the clutch, not too shabby 1.32 best 60 foot time too. In the end ran a best of 11.14 at 125mph, in hind site should of ran with a glide but I kept in as I bought it and made it my own style.

Sold at end of 2006 I think, then bought a car in from the USA, a Spitzer built chrome moly altered rolling chassis, tagged to 6.00 and only really needing a motor to go racing, initial plan was to build a very simple BBC with a carb and run it very cheaply and simply...well that plan soon went out of the window, having a few parts in the workshop thanks to my dad, ended up going blown, so plan is now to again run quite conservative and not hurt parts, spec is below.

Plans for this car are mid to low 7's - trying to keep things in one piece and having some fun, with all the work running Relentless it will be good to have a beer on Saturday night instead of up till midnight rebuilding a Lenco!

For my race number I have also picked '1910' - this is the year my great grandad Charlie Bennett won the TT race at Brooklands (16th March 1910) - very proud to use this number, means alot to me and hopefully he will be proud of what I can achieve in this car.
